Update

Hello, nerdlingtons de musica. So remember when we all used to post stupid shit here? And how it’s completely died off? That’s okay. I have an idea for something new that might be for all of us. More on that in a week or two. If I get that new thing going, I’ll probably shut down all the blogs because they’ll be unnecessary.

Also, Katie and I went to Hawai’i again.

Lang, To Answer Your Question,

The make-test-case macro has three forms to construct a test-case. The name is a string that is reported if the test-case fails. The action in an expression that is evaluated to determine test success or failure. The optional setup and teardown are expressions that are run before and after the action respectively. They are useful for managing state required by a test. If is important to note that action, setup and teardown are all expressions that are wrapped in a lambda form by the macro. If multiple expressions are needed for any of the parts they must be wrapped in an explicit begin.

(make-test-suite name test …)

The make-test-suite macro constructs a test-suite with the given name and tests.

Yeah this is pretty important... like the Hindenburg crash, only not as funny

We stand, my young friends, on the apex, the cusp, the nadir, the verge, the threnody, the scallop, the limestone, the hotentot, the wombat, the mortgage, the silicone, of a new era, the likes of which no previous generation has been blissfully lucky to see come to fruition.

Remember.. “Whaazzzzaaaaaaaaaapp!!” ? Remember “How do you do? It’s a pleasure to meet you” ? These are greetings of sorts, exchanged between friendly people meeting each other for the first time, or alternately, when friends and acquaintences meet again and inquire upon each others’ good fortune.

Well, I have a new one. This new greeting can be used, should be used, in these contexts, and any other meeting between people. Please note the date and time this blog was composed, and also the date and time you encountered it, for little else this quarter-century shall impact your life- nor fulfill it- quite so completly. I humbly give you…

Well, shit.

Okay, so I did what was asked of me and closed comments. I did it in the most expedient way: by updating the database directly. Then I rebuilt the pages. Now none of the comments are showing any more. They’re still there, but the templates that build the pages aren’t handling it correctly.

So I’ll fix it this weekend.

Unless I just shut the site down.
