Attention: technophiles, techies, tech geeks, technoids:
what I have in my head that I want to buy is this: a hand~held cd burner with a microphone port for recording an outside sound source. Ideally this would be for those 3" cds, and I could burn directly to those tiny cds with either a seperate mic or a point-and-record feature. Essentially a DAT handheld but rather a DACD, I don't want to use tape, I want to use cds! Finally, this item would be compatible with PC- rather than Mac, sorry mac lovers. DOES SUCH AN ITEM EXIST? And if so, is it affordable?
the nearest thing i have found so far is the Imation RipnGo, seen here: (sorry for the long link!) http://www01.bhphotovideo.com/default.sph/FrameWork.class?FNC=ProductActivatorAproductlist_html_246209_IMRGJ_REG_CatID=4250_SID=EE05CA6D840___call=Incls#goto_Incls but near as I can tell it doesn't have an audio-in port or any kind of outside-source recording features, unless I'm reading the spec's wrong, which is entirely possible. I don't know how to read specs!
Do any of yall have any idears or suggestions? Thanks! :)
