Dr. K is in the house!

Yesterday, Henry Kissinger was on campus to give the keynote address in a forum entitled "Ethical and Moral Dimensions of America's War on Terrorism." Only 25 people, including only 2 SMU students, protested, handing out fliers {with facts regarding his role in escalating Vietnam and Cambodia, in East Timor and in Chile; these fliers also had the following links: www.kissinger.20m.com and http://www.thirdworldtraveler.com/Kissinger/HKissinger.html}
A small number perhaps, but the Daily Campus also ran this Letter to the Editor from a faculty: http://www.smudailycampus.com/vnews/display.v/ART/2002/03/27/3ca2a620da42f?in_archive=1
[Incidentally, it was only announced Monday that HK would be here, I think that was a deliberate tactic to stifle on-campus protests, for which any group would be required to get a permit 72 hours in advance.. Though it's doubtful that the turnout would have been much bigger otherwise.]
Anyway, I got to thinking, wouldn't it be fun to actively campaign to have Kissinger's Nobel Peace Prize rescinded? Impossible? Of course. But it could direct international attention to his war crimes, and it would be funny! Imagine getting signatures on petitions from OTHER winner of the NPP, like Tutu..
So, who's with me? It's not like you're doing anything right?
