5 dead houston kids

I am so sick over this. how do you NOT stop? how do you kill one? and then another? and another? and not stop? what were the other kids doing at the time? was she killing one as she heard the sounds of the others unknowingly playing or were they locked in the bedroom in fear?
I have a child. about the same age as one of those dead kids.
